The Jeff Horton Band

The Jeff Horton Band has a sound like no other, featuring vocal harmony and instrumentation unusual for acoustic ensembles. 

Jeff has been playing bluegrass in New England for almost 50 years, from the Neon Valley Boys and Northern Lights to Wide Open Spaces. The two-time inductee into the RI Bluegrass Hall of Fame is known for his versatile singing voice and upright bass.

Matt Carlin is featured with the JHB on guitar, electric guitar, and mandolin. Gary Beekmann plays guitar, dobro, amd mandolin. Joan Eliyesil, a virtuoso on her banjo, loves the traditional as well as old R&B and jazz standards. And there isaccordionist L. Stroker Rogovin, a regular sideman on the Boston music scene. 

Though the band carries his name, all of the members contribute lead vocals, everyone getting their turn in front, all lending to the musical gumbo that is the Jeff Horton Band.

 Infused with the energy of New Orleans street bands, our stylized pop  covers, Tin Pan Alley, and trad jazz favorites combined with hilarious  antics guarantee to engage and entertain your audience from start to  finish. 

 The iconic duo returns for a one-day performance, revisiting the songs that defined their unique folk-rock sound. Known for their tight  harmonies and acoustic blends, their music captured fans in the ‘90s and  earned multiple awards in The Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll. 

Formed in the late-’80s, John Fuzek and Mary Ann Rossoni emerged from  Rhode Island’s folk scene, writing songs that addressed relationships,  politics, and the environment. After a successful recording and  performance career, the duo pursued solo music projects, with Mary Ann  joining bands like Midnight Honey and Dragonfly Marie, and John  performing with tributes like Forever Young and CatMoonShadow.  

 Grammy-nominated guitarist and New England Music Hall of Famer Jon Butcher is one of a select handful of influential recording artists who emerged  from the legendary Boston music scene! Video, eclectic radio releases  and incendiary live performances comprise the underpinnings of a rich  music career that continues today 

  The Lost Tribe is a drum-centered Afro-funk fusion ensemble, led by  multi-percussionist Jocelyn Pleasant. As a traditional percussionist and  drum kit player, Pleasant wanted to create a group that showcased the  drum as a lead instrument and melodic voice. Her goal was also to  provide a platform for musicians of different but overlapping  communities to come together. She started the group in 2016, with the  goal of blending djembe music into African Diasporic genres like jazz,  rock, funk, blues, and reggae. 

We are thrilled to have legendary rockers Robin Lane & Adam Sherman on our bandshell stage as they have teamed up to create some powerful magic!

   With decades of experience in historical re-enactment, McNiff offers a  compelling portrayal. A former National Park Ranger at the Roger  Williams National Memorial in Providence, he has spent years researching  the era and educating audiences. In addition to his historical work,  McNiff has a background in acting, production, and stage combat  instruction, making his performances both informative and engaging. 

 Award-winning  duo, Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly, presents delightful programs  of American and Celtic folk music and dance with gorgeous harmonies and  an array of instrument and footwork including guitar, dulcimer, Irish  whistle, harmonica, banjo, limberjacks, and freestyle Appalachian  clogging. Married since 1989, Aubrey and Elwood have performed widely in  the United States and beyond as full-time musicians and their fourteen recordings are streamed worldwide. 

 Free-folk enigma Gary  Higgins entered the popular consciousness more than three decades after his music career ground to an abrupt halt when the reissue of his 1973  cult classic, Red Hash, became a cause célèbre in the summer of 2005. 

Mark Cutler is a RI institution, a singer -songwriter who has been the lead singer and songwriter for The Schemers, The Raindogs and The Dino Club.

The Texas transplant Americana singer  has been described as “…An old-school type of songwriter whose songs and  performance are able to cross space and time to touch that part of your  brain where love, loss, happiness, and longing all co-exist”. 

Jan Luby was born on the road  to Vaudeville parents , and has spent her entire life engaging with the audience though music.

Born in Tennessee, New England based Singer-songwriter Michelle Saylors  early musical inspirations include country, bluegrass and gospel. She  released her debut album, Hit the Creek, in 2024.  Comparisons have been  made to Emmylou Harris, Roseanne Cash and Bonnie Raitt but Saylors is  an expressive artist all on her own, with an Appalachian Mountain  flavor.

Hawk in the Nest (Avi Jacob) creates songs that shoot arrows straight through the heart.

Anthony Loffredio is a well known RI artist who has lead his band Barn Burning for over a decade. Joining him is cohost Kim Petrarca.

 Kim Petrarca is a singer-songwriter based out of Providence, RI. She was  involved in the local New England music scene for over ten years before  she moved to Nashville to pursue her dream.  She has recorded and  released three EPs, a country single, an original holiday track, and  most- recently, a single after her move back east. 

The Gazebo stage is always a fun place to hang out! Short sets by some of RI's best!
